Almost all of the clothing ASOS sells is a little too … let’s go with “young”, for me. They do, however, have awesome and crazy shoes, bags, and other accessories. They also have really great clearance/sale prices.

They also have free shipping both ways, which is great. Worth checking out.

Things that are good in my life right now:

1. I actually got some research done on this chapter/paper that I want to make significant progress on in the next few weeks. Haven’t written anything, exactly, but I’m getting there.

2. Picked up some of my pottery at the studio last night and it turned out really well. The instructor showed it to everyone who was learning how to glaze things so they would have some ideas. I’m going to go over there this afternoon and try to use up the rest of my clay. Maybe if this silly PhD thing doesn’t work out, I can be a potter.

3. Decided on a house to rent next year with two wonderful friends. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun together. The house isn’t perfect, but it’s big, pretty nice, close to campus, and just a few doors down from my boyfriend’s house. My bedroom will be small, but I’ll save money, and we have the whole rest of the house to spread out in. Also: DISHWASHER.

That’s enough for now. Wish I could pass along some pleasantness to the rest of you, after what has been some rough couple of weeks, but I know this is my personal stuff and not stuff that makes the world better.
